HOUSTON – Today, USA Basketball Chairman and National Team Managing Director Jerry Colangelo declared the 20 NBA players who will go to the USA Basketball Men’s National Team preparing camp in Las Vegas from Aug. 5-9. Eric Gordon, James Harden, and P.J. Exhaust were altogether chosen, making the Houston Rockets the main group with multiple agents.
Following the Las Vegas camp, the chose group finalists will reassemble to prepare in Los Angeles from Aug. 13-15. The official, 12-part list for the 2019 USA Basketball Men’s World Cup Team will be reported on Aug. 17. The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup happens in China from Aug. 31 through Sept. 15.
Gordon was the Rockets second-driving scorer this postseason with 17.8 focuses per game, up from 16.2 ppg during the ordinary season. He won a gold decoration with Team USA at the 2010 World Cup.
Solidify was as of late named a consistent All-NBA First Team choice for the third straight season in the wake of averaging 36.1 focuses, 7.5 helps, 6.6 bounce back and 2.03 takes in 2018-19. He won a gold decoration with Team USA at the 2012 Olympics and the 2014 World Cup.
Exhaust found the middle value of 11.4 focuses per game in the 2019 playoffs, up from 7.3 ppg during the customary season. He has not yet spoken to the Senior National Team but rather won a gold award at the 2004 FIBA Americas Under-20 Championship alongside Chris Paul.
Jason Biles, the Rockets Head Athletic Trainer/Director of Athlete Care and Science, is filling in as athletic mentor for Team USA through the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
