The search for missing Texas A&M student Tanner Hoang has ended tragically, with the announcement that he was found deceased in Austin near Pennybacker Bridge on Loop 360. The Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley (AANBV) stated that Hoang’s family had confirmed his death, and asked for prayers for the family during this difficult time. The College Station Police Department confirmed Hoang’s death on Christmas Day, but did not provide any details about the circumstances. Hoang was last seen in the 900 block of Colgate Drive in Brazos County on December 16th, and was reported missing after turning off his phone around 8 a.m. and getting gas in Caldwell, Texas around noon. His car was later found unoccupied in West Austin on December 22nd. No further information about the cause of Hoang’s death has been released.
