JJ Watt, a former Houston Texans NFL team superstar and likely future Hall of Famer, announced his retirement on Twitter Tuesday morning.
In his tweet, Watt mentioned that it was his son’s first game and also his last ever NFL home game.
Throughout his 10 seasons with the Houston Texans.
Watt was a dominant force on the field and was named to the NFL All-Pro first team a record five times.
He was also a Pro Bowler in each of those seasons. Won the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year award three times (2012, 2014, and 2015).
After spending two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. Watt has decided to hang up his cleats and end his career on a high note.
