Have y’all ever experienced a smelly dishwasher? We’ve tried everything from cleaning the filter, using citric acid crystals, looping the drain hose properly, rinsing dishes before, not rinsing dishes, with rinse aid, without rinse aid, liquid detergent, detergent pod, and vinegar cleaning to try and keep it from smelling 🤢.
The weird thing is, when the door is closed after the dishes finish (preventing auto air) they don’t smell 🙌🏼. But the second they cool down, they get the wet dog 🐶 / fishy 🐟 stink. We’re in Florida and have great quality drinking water, so it’s not hard water minerals 💦 – but we’re at a loss for what to do!
Has anyone else had this issue? What did you do to solve it? Please share your tips and tricks with us – we need all the help we can get 🙏🏼.
